Is This Course Suitable for Me?

The Level 5 Extended Diploma in Management and Leadership is designed for those with some management experience. If you are currently a middle manager looking to develop your skills and knowledge further at this level, then this course is ideal for you. It is also beneficial for those with first line management experience looking to progress into middle management. The Extended Diploma course option is the most comprehensive qualification available at Level 5.

Course content

To complete the CMI Level 5 Extended Diploma, learners must complete a combination to a minimum of 540 TUT to achieve this qualification. There are barred combinations of units – learners taking 502 cannot select 503, 505 or 511, and learners taking 526 cannot select 501 or 502.

The TQT value is determined by adding the TUT values of each unit you would like to study.

The Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) Scheme, offered through the Enhanced Learning Credits Administration Services (ELCAS), provides funding for current and former armed forces personnel.

The scheme provides funding in three separate financial years for nationally recognised qualifications at Level 3 or above.
