What a great event the Launch of the NEAA proved to be last Friday, 27th March.

A host of eminent speakers with a keen interest in developing the relationships within the automotive supply chain within the North East were present, including Kevin Fitspatrick, Nissan’s Vice President for UK Manufacturing, Lawrence Davies, Deputy Chief Executive of the Automotive Investment Organisation and Mike Matthews, MD at Nifco UK Limited.

The NEAA’s Chief Executive, Paul Butler explained the process behind the coming together of organisations to create this cluster, not least to raise the profile of the North East both nationally and internationally.

Here at DLC Training & Training we were really encouraged by the discussions relating to skills development in the sector and look forward to experiencing the benefits this alliance will bring to the North East Region.
