83 percent of recruiters see training and qualifications as an important aspect of the industry’s professionalism.
The Recruitment and Employment Confederation’s latest CEO webinar revealed the extent to which recruiters consider appropriate qualifications vital to their own performance. The survey came at the same time as a new set of recruitment professional qualifications from the Institute of Recruitment Professionals were launched.
Andrew Carr, the REC’s head of training, said that the “world-class” programme would equip IRP members with the knowledge, confidence and skills they need to build long-term client relationships and boost their reputation among candidates.
He added: “The findings of the webinar again show that bringing our qualifications right up to date to meet all the challenges of an ever changing recruitment industry is a major step forward for the IRP.”
